“I used to always just say no constantly. The kids asked for toy light sabers and instead of saying no, I said 'that sounds awesome! Do you have enough money?' They ran off, did the math and discovered they were $5 short. So they consulted the extra chores section of their star charts and got busy scooping dog poop, folding towels and cleaning counters while I said nothing! AMAZING!"
